Today is a new record. The Poly is in the charger and after 35 minutes it still is not turned on when repeatedly trying to turn it on.

I give up for today.

That Whathifi gave the Chord Poly 5 stars (maximum score possible) remains a mystery to me.

Yep, very irresponsible of them given the significant issues many are facing

Any Vannuys case available for the Mojo-Poly? I mean the carrying case not the Chord/Vannuys slip-on case.
Just got my Poly with a official Chord case, going to charge it, can't wait!

They are both official Chord Cases designed by Chord one is a hard case one is a leather slip on case which is made by VanNuys in Japan and is available through our usual distributors.

I got a noob question. How do I turn my Poly on?

Poly is always on to a certain extent (unless the battery is flat), because it is 'listening' for the signal from Mojo, to tell Poly to wake up fully.

The carry strap for the Mojo/Poly hard-case disconnects itself a little too easily, mine has come undone in my pocket many times and I have now lost it completely.

Would it be rude to ask for an update on where we are with the firmware update, app and what Poly units are the new design to cope with old Mojos?

AN update on my experience, I have Poly set up on wifi but remioved the router address so my iPhone X can still reach the internet. I can access my SD card or stream Tidal via AirPlay without issue. However like most people my poly does not always turn on when I power up Mojo. I do find that if this happens, as soon as I plug it into the charger it turns on and is in hotspot mode like I left it. THis is even true when I know the Poly is fully charged. There must be something in teh circuit that does this but I am not no smart enough to figure that one out.

Ont eh otehr hand, I agree with most that the Poly/Mojo combo sounds superior to Mojo with a. Direct connection to my phone.

I have food news for you.
If you are not capable of hearing the difference between BT and WiFi transmission to Mojo/Poly, then you don't need it at all. Just go with some BT headphones, like sehnheisers momentum. They are 10x less expensive, offer the sound you will certainly enjoy, and will be much more difficult to get lost.

So how do you push Tidal to Poly if you need wifi on the phone to stream Tidal? How to stream Tidal to poly (android phone)

just use a lot of caution to keep Poly dry.

Not sure if I am to treat your posts seriously after the revelation about your interactions with Chord...

Flowers, candles, chocolate, and wine.

If that doesn't work you can try momentarily plugging the charge cable into it until the Poly light comes on. Then remove cable and turn Mojo off/on. In my experience Poly takes a good 15 minute or so with Mojo being turned on/off several times before Poly engages. It's like a nifty built-in game for audiophiles "Will Poly Or Won't Poly Play Today?".

Who knows, maybe it will get better with that elusive GoFigure app to 'wake' Poly up.
