I just discovered air audio, which seems great in theory as it just allows basically raw audio output from the phone to be redirected to airplay or dlna. I was particularly excited about using dlna, but I get a drop out every like 2 minutes for a few seconds, very annoying. Airplay also has some slight dropouts, and the 2+ second delay is kind of frustrating when changing tracks or pausing. I also found that it seems to have a tedency to introduce static or clipping (maybe?) into the audio stream, very frustrating. Currently uninstalled. Still waiting on proper spotify support, either direct spotify connect capability or for the google cast functionality that they are working on.
On an unrelated note, how is battery life for everyone else? The manual states that poly should last for 9 hours vs the mojo's 8. I would expect that means that the mojo should die before the poly. But reality seems to be the opposite. I normally charge them together, because the convenience is just too good to pass up, plus its kind of a pain to have to remove it from the case. However, I wanted to try something. I charged them up today, the mojo switched off (when it was finished charging) and then shortly afterwards, the poly switched over to blinking blue light. It is my understanding that the poly switches on when charging, which is fine, but when the charging light switches from white to blue (blinking blue in my case, not on my normal wifi network) it should indicate that the poly is finished, right? Well, it seemed way too soon for both to have charged, so I removed the power plug and waited for the poly to shut off, then disconnected the poly from the mojo and plugged it back in. White light again. Been white for a while now. So I am wondering if the charging isnt quite working properly when the poly is plugged into the mojo.
Is the poly not charging up completely? That would at least make some sense as to why the poly is dying quicker than the mojo every time.
