Any news on the Chrord App yet? It was mentioned early on after relaease of Poly that it was about 3 weeks away from being submitted to Apple but that was a good 3-4 weeks ago I think?

Would appreciate any ETA you are able to provide as I’m still having 5-6 minute Poly wake times and I’m hoping the App may help me identify something,

Thanks

I'm having trouble connecting Poly to my work WiFi network. It's an unsecured network with no password but Poly will not save the SSID setting and gives a warning saying 'Failed to save changes'.

Can Poly connect to a WiFi network without a password or do you always have to enter one, anyone else had any luck with this?

I'd also like to know how I can connect Poly to a wifi network that requires a login name/identity as well as network name + password. Any advice on this one guys?

Cheers

The app is in with Apple for approval we will advise.
Though we do expect to be coming out with code update to fix some router connectivity issues and other stuff later this week

no at present you cannot do this
We have spent a lot of time making sure you can keep Poly secure now you would like to have completely open access. This is a bit
risky but I guess if it’s say a music only network it might be okay so we will look if we can open a route that keeps all others remaining secure and include it in a future update.

Hi @Matt Bartlett - there was some talk of the P status light turning off when fully charged rather than turning blue. My Poly is now doing that all the time - it never goes blue after charging. This happens whether it is connected to Mojo or not, and I'm sure that my Anker 2.4A charger is up to the job. Is this something I should be worried about?

it's particularly weird because for the first few times I charged it up, it did turn blue. It's just stopped doing that.

I know other people have reported similar above.

I’m use my iPhone to pair with my poly. Can people here advise me on which app do you guys use to play dsd files from sd card ? The only app I can use is mpdluxe but I can’t get this to work with iPhone hotspot. Only works with my home WiFi.
8 player can display my dsd files on the app but cannot play the dsd files.

Any help would be good

Thank you

Ok we are investigating this. The P status light will go out and Poly will switch off when Poly detects no voltage from the charger or from Mojo.
Some Anker chargers are smart and have intelligent ports that detect the amount of current required and shut down to reduce energy consumption when it's not needed.

When Mojo and Poly are fully charged the current drawn from the port on the Anker charger would be almost zero so the charger would detect that no power is required and shut that port down.
Poly will then switch off as it will no longer detect any voltage on the micro USB input.

Can you let me know the model number of your Anker charger as I will run some tests and confirm.
It's nothing to be concerned about but I would like to give you an explanation if I can.

@Matt Bartlett - I've copied my post below about the same thing again for more info. Same charger since day one but Poly's behaviour changed last Friday. Apple iPad charger (labelled 2.1A) throughout. Hope that helps.

Mine has started doing this too. Up until Friday last week, when Poly hit fully charged, the P status light went from white to blue and Poly stayed on the wifi network. Now Poly's light goes out when fully charged and Poly isn't on the network (ie Poly is fully shut down).

Before this change, when Poly's light was blue when fully charged, I could turn Mojo and Poly on with the power cable still connected. Now, after the P status light has gone out when fully charged, Mojo and Poly won't switch on while the power cable remains connected - I have to disconnect the power cable for Mojo and Poly to switch on.

No problem now I've worked out what's going on - just different to first couple of weeks of use.

@Matt Bartlett or @Mojo ideas - just out of curiosity, do you know why this change in behaviour might have happened? Like I say, it's no problem - Mojo/Poly still working without difficulty and sounding amazing - but I'd be interested if there's an explanation....

Good to know that you guys are looking into it.

+1. Will absolutely need to do this. Thanks.
