I am happy to report my affectionately named "MojoPoopy" is finally working from SDcard/Glider!

Not sure if last night's turn of events had something to do with it. The blue light stayed on until battery drained completely. I charged it this a.m. and then allowed Poly to fornicate with Mojo again. After about 3 Power on/off cycles of the Mojo, Poly turned on. Then opened Glider immediately and lo & behold Poly appeared in Glider app! After a quick sync audio was playing through Mojo to my Xmas-gifted DT880s. Finally!!!

Hope things stick this time. I will also still need to test with Android/Neutron. Now where's that GoFigure app?

I am sitting here on Sunday afternoon listening to the remastered 40th anniversary edition of the Eagles Hotel California album off Tidal Masters thru Roon wirelessly. Sounds great and I can walk around. It's easy to pick on Poly because she (am I allowed to apply a gender or is that politically incorrect?) can be temperamental at times and frustrating at others (I'll stop there before I cross the line on PC). I do think the microSD card played thru Glider sounds just a little better but this is an excellent demonstration of what Poly can deliver.

Just giving Poly a little love.

Glider still works from iPad. However I recently needed to power cycle Mojo about 6 or 7 times before Poly would turn on. Basically if I want to listen to MojoPoopy I need to plan it 10-15 minutes prior to the urge, can't be totally spontaneous yet. Once Glider gets a dark theme I'll pay for it even though I'm in Beta program currently. I like Joe's work with it so far.

On Android I can't get my paid Neutron to play to Poly using SDcard. It will see Poly in the 'Output To' but for media source I can map to it, Neutron will scan it, but not process any of it. Weird. I downloaded the BubbleUPnP trial app and it worked fine so looks like I'm spending a bit of chump change to buy it. Would like to find a DLNA player app that integrates Deezer and/or Spotify. Ones I've found so far, including Bubble, has Tidal (yuck) and Qobuz (untried- should I?) services. Any suggestions?

My wife Heather calls her Poly "she" and empathetically calls her, "a little temperamental at times..."

interestingly enough, "Mojo" has always been "he" in both her and my language.

And, yes, the remastered 40th anniversary album...I am not a huge Eagles fan, but it sounds great.

I appreciate the update, John. Thank you.

For what it’s worth Neutron didn’t work for me on iPhone either... my iPhone 6+ doesn’t have the power to play via Neutron... nothing but drop outs and only burst of 10sec on music ...
Got both Qobuz and Tidal but prefer the quality and speed of Qobuz... can’t speak for Android as that was 5 years ago but I loved Bubble Upnp...

Hi,

I am the one with the better luck than the others, as my mojo poly is 100 % working on Iphone hot spot for airplay streaming of spotify on the go. Also Glider works better and better with each beta version. Hovewer there are still moments where my mojo/poly is not seen by Glider or 8 Player for no particular reasons in particular when using Iphone hot spot mode. I can confirm that when Mojo/Poly plays the sound quality is absolutely amasing both for speakers and headphones. I am in the camp which bielive that poly gives better sound then the mojo itself. My hugo 2 is currently spending most of time in the drawer waiting for 2 go module ressurection. I have one question hovewer. My Poly battery live is longer then Mojo and its always Mojo which goes dead first. Also yesterday i did not have the good charger with me and was using under powered one . In such a case it states in the manual than only Mojo battery should be powered (which was bigger problem) but in my case it was Poly which was charging and Mojo not? Is the manual wrong or I have specific synergies between my mojo/poly?

I'm at the office now, with AQ Nighthawks on head, currently listening to Steven Wilson's Hand Cannot Erase from Tidal via BubbleuPNP, using my mobile as a hotspot.
Good thing I got chargers there.
Spotify and/or AirSpot decided to tell me to bugger off today, so my data pool will shrink considerably today. But at least SQ is better this way.
Still far from perfect, but at least worth taking with MojoPoly me to work.

It's my Note's battery that dies first when I use hotspot. And I can hardly believe that iPhone performs better, since I got beefed up 10000 mAh Zerolemon extension battery for my Note4.
But I admit that I use it also for other stuff than feeding MojoPoly with Tidal.
That being said, I have just switched to HD515 and moved to To the Bone, HD515 with MojoPoly suit this probably even more than NHs, with crisp but not harsh highs, and a lot of air and space, even if they are a fraction of the price of NHs. Very nice indeed.

I ended up paying for BubbleUPnP since it does work really well. I also stumbled along another Android app the looks and functions very slick called "Hi-Fi Cast + DLNA". This app looks better than Bubble from a GUI standpoint but Bubble can still do more. H-Fi was only a couple of bucks to unlock it to "pro" removing adds and other limitations which I immediately payed for once I found it all worked with Poly/Poopy.
