Just had the battery replaced in my Poly, but now it will only start up if it is plugged in. Otherwise, the Poly is fine, i.e. it charges and plays. I have had the Poly for 6 or 7 years and haven't seen this behavior before. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Where was it replaced? If the dealer, I’d have them fix it. If you did it yourself, you may not have an exact matching battery. I just replaced mine with this one and it works perfectly: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805209584226.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa

I had it replaced by Moon, where I bought it. I was scared off doing it myself by hearing that the light tube was a hassle. That go ok for you?
No. Earlier I posted that the light tube fell out. I bought some replacement tubing, and it’s a smaller diameter, but I fitted it in and it works. It’s fainter, but at least I can see the Mojo status now when they are plugged together.

I would contact Moon and let them know and have them fix it. Should be no issue for them.

Moon will take care of it, for sure. They have excellent customer service. I was just hoping there was a solution that didn't include sending it back.

The Sound Organization (support@soundorg.com) is highly recommended for the USA.
Ask for Rick Williford.

I sent in my Poly without the battery (and connector), optic light and a missing screw and they replaced all. My Poly works like it was new. The entire process took less than one week.

The bonus is that I have the old battery connector and can attach to a replacement battery if I choose to replace in the future. They also included a Chord magnet and button.

hi, I just got my poly and dusted off my mojo2. got it 18 months ago when I first got into the hobby. now with my end game iem’s I looking forward to using the mojo/poly.
I was hoping to get some help.
I use tidal/qobuz/apple music 99% of the time with 85% downloaded files (offline use).
I travel a lot and would 90% of my use of the mojo poly will be on aircraft.
I do like the untethered nature of the device.

can I use it the way I want using tidal, qobuz, spotify, apple music to stream high quality music to the Poly while not having a connection to a traditional wifi network (as on a plane)?
definitely not interested in bluetooth or other lower quality as the goal for me was to play high quality music downloaded on tidal etc for offline use.

I do use roon but don’t fly with a server.

Connect Poly to your phone’s hotspot. Done.

Thanks! Works like a charm…. Was intimidated with all I have seen on this thread and couldn’t get it to work myself. Great simple advice.

What sound quality would you think I’m getting using this? Streaming a downloaded tidal ‘max’ file.

The only way I have managed to play Qobuz or Tidal myself is by using an app like MConnect

I use mostly Android devices, I use my phones Hotspot to connect to my Mojo/Poly and then MConnect to access Qobuz or Tidal. However this will not allow you to access music you have saved to your device and will require an internet connection to access Qobuz and Tidal servers.

I cannot see how you can use your Mojo/Poly in your use case above without connecting your phone directly to the Mojo2, which will allow you to use as you require.

Connect Poly to your phone’s hotspot. Done.
Can you expand further @AussieMick

What would be the quality using this?
Same as wired to compressed using max high res downloaded files.
