based on what you said guys I think I'm not buying those lasmex anymore, now my head is turning towards the shp9500, I already have b8, will the Philips be an upgrade or a sidegrade?
I would wait and see how Lurk thinks they compare to the SHP9500s.
I have been looking into the Lasmex for a while now and the only problem I can find with them is that nobody credible around here has tried them that I can find. It's not that they are a bad OR good deal, it's that there isn't a ton of experience with them.

Once you have a decent audiophile headphone, I firmly believe any other headphone is a sidegrade at that point. Still, the SHP9500 is very different than the B8. I like the both. I will state the headphone that gets the most use from me though is my SHP9500 due to comfort, weight, and clarity in gaming.
I would agree...and I think that is probably a better goal than finding an 'endgame' headphone.
I have some solid headphones, all of my stinkers or genre picky ones or just ones that did't work I have given away.....what I have left are all on par in one way or another....BUT...
as a general rule, when I am in motion, I use my Fidelio L2s...and when I am sitting, I ALWAYS reach for the SHP 9500s...the longer I have them, the more I appreciate them. The Fidelios are "better" in every way (other than overall size of soundstage) but for a lot of things, I enjoy the SHPs more.

shipping fee is my main problem since i live in asia unfortunately, so it wont be a good deal for me, i also dislike the looks on the z55, that shiny silver paint...meh, z35 specs are close to z55 just with lesser soundstage and bass extension (as their site says) so im ok with that i just hope they have the same resolution and detail, the looks on z35 are also more subdued which i like.

edit: ive read some reviews on amazon, i think the z series have serious issues on their build, i think i have to stay away from them for now

Now I remember looking at these and Takstar when I ended up getting my Superlux. I think it was build quality reports that put me off.
