Oriolus Szalayi is a great tribrid. DD+Planar+BA. meet your sound signature but at USD 890.Hia guys sorry I ca not quote you guys the helped me due to this new phone & android 13 playing up but you know who you are so thank you So after you guys pointed out the 7hz Legato I done a bit more digging and in the end went over to Linsoul and secured me a set, I'm not sure his name but an Asian guy on YouTube done a short unboxing of the them and also graphed them in front of you and that bass boost is even greater than the one you guys showed me I'm a total basshead and IF 7hz pull this off its gonna be an epic bass Cannon for sure? I'm just hoping it's not "too" dark and has enough treble extension to counter the huge Bass shelf? I can't remember exactly but I'm sure there's a peak around 5-6kz & maybe 10-12kz? Anyway hhere's keeping fingers crossed they manage to pull it off
Im still on the hunt for my £500 Tribrid that has huge Bass but still has great technicalities? "IF" I had the money i would for sure be looking at 64Audio or Empire Ears but unfortunately that's just a dream so I need to be realistic and settle on a mid-fi! So iv narrowed it down to either the Yanyin X HBB mahina, Xenns UP or ISN EST50? my must haves are Soinion EST Driver's & bass for monthsssss lol
eing released lately which really intrest me like the TRN TA3 with double dynamic & single Knowles? And it's not exactly new but after you guys pointed it out the AQ4 really tempts me? But, the one monitor which is at the top of my list is the Yanyin Canon, i have such an eclectic music library and am such basshead it just ticks all the box's. So my decision is do I spend £500 on my ultimate Tri-Brid or do I go with the AQ4 & Cannon? decisions Decisions
IF you guys have any thoughts on my hunt for a basshead Tri-Brid it would be VERY welcome?
Thanks in advance for your help it's much appreciated

Having finally ripped all my cds to flac I'm looking for a dap for the files I have a variety of Daps with my downloaded hi res files the
FiiO M15,
Sony NW-WM1A,
Shanling M6pro (21)
I'm in the market for $500 dap
I did drool over the RS6 and could possibly stretch to one
but A quick question hiby R6111 or Rs2 be quality enough for red book files
I got an iBasso dx160 but its way too dense in signature
Help me which one is likely to be most satisfying
I'm very tempted by the RS2 but nervous about the tiny screen.
The double card slot is also a boon but the modern android and conventional layout of the R6 111 seems the safe bet.
The RS6 does also look very impressive and has bigger screen but single sd slot but it's $1200
I'm usually buying used so new is a novelty sigh procrastination!

Hello mate, happy you find a reason to buy something lol, the Legato seem very interesting but i would wait for diversify reviewers take since Ian work for 7HZ. But the graph is certainly basshead approve already, no doubt about that too.
I'm into a basshead quest right now but tend to fall mostly on warm or dark offering. With the exception of SuperTFZ Force1 which is a hard bright V shape with 20db mid bass boost, it hit freakin hard and attack speed is very impressive, for 80$ i find them quite good in fact but sometime fatiguing due to this intense thumping lol
(my review is on headfi for more detailed impression)
AQ4 is great, but not very sharp or bright in treble, nor very extended or sparkly....same goes with ISN H40 which is even more bassy and kinda similar, but even darker on top.
I had Xenn Up for more than a month and adore them, but they arent basshead at all, yet not lacking in low end, its a balanced near neutral tonality, harman target done right which is rare.
While not radical brain shaking bass head, i feel the Raptgo Hook X HBB might be up your alley, it isn't lacking bass boom, mids arent thin and treble is quite crazy fast, snappy and bright in edge. I consider sound benefit very good for asking price.
For Tribrid, the Oriolus suggested seem the best. Tri I3pro is good but the slam is sub bass focus and lack proper well felt punch imo
Another worthy check is the Fatfreq Maestro Mini, it seem they are really loved by hardcore basshead and it have a 20db extremist boost!

If im right....your a basshead too bro? it most be take in account for your DAP quest since sometime low end is either lacking or roll off with DAPs (Tempotec V6 is a good ex).
RS2 screen is indeed very small, biggest drawback for my big thumbs...and its warm, but bass is full and not lacking dynamic. And line out can scale up resolution and all, very impressive to use R2R DAC alone.
Hum, Questyle QP2R bass is very addictive and we are into lushness territory, not too warm nor to cold or bright. But amping power is on the low side, yet sound quality-musicality wise it would be the one I suggest. Especially at 700$ price we can find it.
If you plan using Flacs, android might be something unwhorty.
I havent try Dethonray DTR1 (+), but it might worth investigation.
RS6 is crazy good, but so expensive...and i don't use android.
I still enjoy quite alot my Ibasso DX90 and its about 180$ used nowaday but harder to find than before, best intuitive blind control, great battery that is changeable and thei some bass boost going on so its never lacking punchs, mids are a hint brightish since its a very well resolve DAP that still put to shame lotta Android DAP have try.

Hello I am newer to this hobby not an expert by any means. But TinHiFi T1S are definitely dark. I found that with stock tips however, mid bass was way way too thumpy on electronic music. With moondrop spring tips, mid bass is lowered and I find myself enjoying this set a lot more, even though I'm a fan of treble and brighter details, this darkness is interesting break for me every once in a while.Hello everyone, any dark tuned good chifi iem suggestions? Reference tuning like 64 Audio U6 ?

Worth having more than one option. Listening to music you are familiar with, through different gear can give you a fresh view of it. It also helps you appreciate your existing IEMs when you change back to something familiar. I'll try spring tips on my T1s. I recently bought a replacement set when they came up on a flash sale for $10. First pair went out as a Xmas present.Hello I am newer to this hobby not an expert by any means. I'm not a professional reviewer just a hobbyist who has an unhealthy obsession with all things iem and DAP based.
I don't use the usual audiophile jargon so bare with me. I hope my enthusiasm for the Simgot EA500 comes across as they really are a giant killer in my opinion.
The Simgot EA500 has a neutral sound signature with very low distortion and high precision.
The bass performance is remarkable with every nuance faithfully represented.
The mids and highs are well balanced and vibrant.
The symmetric frequency response of left and right ears brings a very solid center imaging
The distortion does not cause any sound contamination or compression feeling
In a simple manner these wonderful dynamic driver iems are crispy, musical and punch above the price bracket by a good margin.
To me they are what the HBB Olinas were supposed to sound like.
Detailed bass with just enough thump to appreciate Classic rock, sub bass is there when called for (maybe not ideal for hip hop- bass driven music) The bass texture is very nice giving a a good representation of the skin of the drum.
Music tested with:
they gave a lively rendition of Lords ROYALS with enough bass to be satisfied and zero sibilance on her vocals
Santana inner secrets album I was going to use a single track but I got lost in the the 3D rendering and ended listening to the whole album just stunning.
Dire Straits Private Investigations - a favourite track I use with all my iems to check dynamics, bass and treble. The EA 500 just blew my mind such terrific dynamics with every nuance faithfully represented. The section which has a cat meow followed by a broken glass was stellar many iems much more expensive give the broken glass a plastic sound the Simgot reproduction of sparking broken glass was very impressive.
The overall sound has, so much space between instruments to be able to pick out each musicians while remaining musical.
The mids are good possibley a little thinner than my ideal but in no way lacking in timbre.
Treble is precise and extends well with good clarity with little to no sibilance to my ears.
The overall signature is airy with a wonderful natural rendition of instruments and voices. I particularly like the staging which is wider than I expected at this price
Add to this the awesome stainless Steel build quailty with a nice carry case these really are a bargain.
I used a 2 pin Nicehck 7n 4core 4. 4mm balanced cable and sedna crystal standard eartios
DAP Sony NW-ZX507 (Japan version) on 4.4mm balanced in high gain volume 85/120

I am what you could call pretty treble sensitive (a princess really) and really like sub bass and lower midbass so the Tripowin Mele is a single DD that is a good buy for me. Sadly its not being made any more.what single DD IEM blow your mind mate???

im too active on FB groups...its hard to be at 2 places at same time but its sure time to share Biggest 2023 LEGIT HYPE for god sake the Simgot EA500 are crazy good!
The Simgot EA500 nail this technicalities meet musicality audio performance and i'm kinda overwhelmed by it's little asking price (70$).
I mean, construction is incredible too, with lot of craftmanship effort.
And as if it wasn't enough ,we have 2 tuning choice, which truely inflict on sound rendering, one being more harman neutral with crisp resolution and sub bass focus while other offer more fowards and warm mids, chunky slam and lush balance.
The EA500 is a most have for any audiophile, budget or TOTL one.
Refined near neutral tuning with some bass boost to have dynamic fun, open and holographic spatiality that put you in middle of music yet in a spacious way, not overly intimate nor muddy at all, clean or lush mids, very fast and snappy treble...i just compare those to 220$ Sonic Memory SM2, expecting to be disappoint by technical performance of EA500 and it was the opposite that happen.
Again: more than Legit (and well deservce) hype! it's just the begining.
as well, tuning nozzle filter can be expand with those from other IEM like Moondrop Kato, Hidizs MS5 etc (need to try to find more)
AND, as if it wasnt enough....venting port have a small screw, so, it seem we can play with that as well (if you have the right tool, which i havent for now)
those seeking for proper HZsound Mirror upgrade, bassier more balanced way....this is it.

Hello everyone,
I'm no expert, not I can't consider myself an audiophile nor anything like it, I just want to have a moment of relaxation every now and then and listen and enjoy my music.
I have a KZ ZSN that I bought around 2 years ago or so, I love how it sounds, although obviously this is not perfect, but for what it cost it was a wonderful purchase, and I was thinking on upgrading to something better, so investing on a new IEM and a DAC, but the more I read and investigate, the more doubts I have...
I can't even say what is my preference in terms of sound signature honestly, although I would say that when treble hits too hard I don't feel much comfortable, so maybe I'm on the warmer/balanced side...
From everything I found, and trying to still make advantage of current discounts on "Ali-x", I was inclined to buy one of the following IEM, only and only based on the opinions and reviews I found online:
- JQ 4U Pro;
- Sound Rhyme SR5;
- Penon Fan 2.
(with the discounts, they will cost around 170/175€).
...or, could I be perfectly served with one of the two:
- Audiosense DT300;
- Letshuoer S12 Pro.
As for DAC's, the one that most came to my attention was the Xduoo Link2 Bal, but now that Fiio KA5 and Ibasso DC04 Pro were released, I'm not sure which would serve me better.
Thanks.

The SR5 tuning got me. There are not many IEMs like this.
The Bravery AE seems to be tuned in a similar way. I do have the itch for an all BA iem. The sonion BAs fit perfectly with my RU6. It's such a good synergy. RU6 + tube amp+ impedance Adapter + BA earphone.
