I am in possession of the Cayin tour kit at this moment. So far so good. Really enjoy the smooth sound of the N6ii so far. My ears can not tolerate upper peaks, so this is a very pleasant time so far with the T01 motherboard.
I have not listened to the YB04 as of yet. I have the EE tour kit now as well. Oh shucks, makes for a good comparison. More to come.
I am very intrigued by this IEM having read everyone's reviews and impressions in this thread. I had/have a VE Duke, now unfortunately with a dead right channel - that IEM needed to be tamed I felt with a warm source, I additionally used Ostry tips to potentially attenuate the treble heat a bit. It also required rather deep insertion for me. But when everything clicked, it was very natural and realistic sounding, while still remaining very listenable/musical- I really enjoyed it. The Cayin YB04 definitely sounds like the next step/replacement for a natural/realistic experience. Plus, I have been stacking up the Amazon gift cards and am close to being able to afford it (check my profile :/ I'm generally a cheap skate).
Hi everyone, I just posted our in-depth review of the YB04. I am very impressed with the tuning of this 4-driver. Makes a nice change from the mass of hybrids out there at the same price.
