Let's hope they've reduced the battery drain and see how it compares to the new W4, but the price alone has my attention. I've never liked this price hike... let's hope Cayin acts differently.

I personally like the price hike, i hate the fact that the components are compressed in order to sell better. What I'm looking forward to this dongle is a direct Mojo2 killer.

At this level (and already since RU6 and the various W1-2-4) I don't think that any dac kills another dac. I think the real difference is the sound signature, the synergy you get with your own headphones/IEMs and most importantly the way in which each of us perceives the sounds as well as personal tastes also regarding the music we listen to. There is now so much to choose from and everyone will find what they are looking for.
