Hi guys, I didn't have the time to give you any feedback. I like the sound of Cayin N8, a lot but I am kinda disappointed with the UI. I like the sound of the 4.4 balanced and the tubes. The 4.4 sound almost identical with the Acoustic research ar-m2 to the point that I would not distinguish between the two with my eyes closed. The tubes sound great in a different way than Calyx M that also have this warm sound. What is nice is that you have different sound from the same device. Now I still have to decide if is going to replace the Calyx m and Acoustic research ar-m2 because I have a buyer remorse, nothing related with the sound but with the cost of the player

Never heard of Acoustic research ar-m2. It's so bug so must be good.
Yes, the Acoustic research ar-m2 is a great sounding player. I had many daps and I didn't find anything to sound better than Calyx M and Acoustic research ar-m2. Cayin N8 sound as good as the other two in one device, maybe the tubes sound more refined than Calyx M but at the same time the Calyx M have a way of pulling you in the music that no dap can do, the same with Acoustic research ar-m2 it sounds as good as the 4.4 balanced, and it has a great synergy with my Jh audio Roxanne performance series.

GUI isn't its strong point but SQ is. Might be worth trying other IEM's though....

Yes, I will try everything before deciding to keep it or not. It was a big stretch for me to buy it and I have a buyer remorse but it is a great sounding device. I just need to decide if it is worth the money effort or if I can live with my other daps

I gave more listening time and I came to the conclusion that yes the Cayin n8 is the best sounding dap that I have ever heard, the most complete and refined sound

Good to hear it gets the seal of approval! 😁 😎 I'm now at a point where I'm hunting down the best mastered versions of albums as hardware wise the hunt is over. A new rabbit hole to jump into! 🍻

Even though I like the sound of it greatly I decided to sell it, I decided that I can live with what I have for the moment. It is time for me to pay my credit card and not just buy things that I can't afford. If you guys are looking to buy one I am willing to let it go

Its great you said earlier that the N8 is the best sounding dap.
I said that it is the best sounding dap because it is, it deserves all the praise, I wish to be in the position to be able to keep it

Could you not consolidate the other DAPs?

Youre BB shouldn't stick around long, nice price. 😎
