I didn't realize how good N8 sounds until I had this matched with the full size. The IEM goes well too but this player really shines
pumping that power to the full size. I am beginning to adore the Dignis case came with the player, too. It makes the device look so premium.

Denon D9200 sounds so juicy..

Sure, I still prefer n8 over max using d9200. Max has amazing clarity and resolution but not as moisterous and organic as with n8.
To me n8 is more fun to listen to while max is more technical on full size headphones. I still need to burn the max a little more as someone
indicated it requires over 300 hours. As with IEMs the max is definitely a winner.

This is too right - the amplification is done right together with implementation of DAC.
