I'm pressuming you mean Onkyo music app pal. I love onkyo music and its touch eq but it seems to to use androids audio stack for me on N6ii, M11, R6Pro, DX220.
Not in foreseeable future, we have worked with MQA on one of our existing product and the process takes much longer t hen expected. We'll wait and see before we commit another product to MQA licensing.
Very sad to read that. I have older and more than twice cheaper Hiby R6, it got MQA support with firmware update after several month after realize. Can Hiby gays help Cayin to get same feature for N6 ii?
Hi guys, for the drain battery issue. I think its the same issue with the latest firmware that Hiby R6 had. I have turn off the wifi and bluetooth and unplug the headphone but the devices still turn very hot and it drains drastically like something still running in the background. However, in the hiby forum, the solution is to allow all permission for google play store and google play services (for cayin, I also allow all permission for google pinyin input). I have tried this with N6ii and so far 8 hrs has passed with the device in standby mode (wifi and bluetooth off) and the percentage only drop by 1%. The devices also not become hot.
Hope it can help you guys for the battery issue.
I also managed to made custom screen guard from other handphone sg with hydrogel and it fits perfectly with n6ii (i made the custom using screen guard for handphone oppo F11 Pro)
Love it the n6ii so far.. Btw, related to MQA issue, I can still play the MQA file using UAPP.
The battery drain was only an issue for me on the first night I had the N6ii. Generally I can leave it for hours with headphones plugged in (but Wifi and Bluetooth off) with maybe 1% battery loss.
Its working for me at least partially. I do get the first unfold, 96Khz on one album I tried, but the hi-res driver isn't working yet, so you have to resort to the Android driver which for me at least won't go higher than 48Khz
Edit: I got it working, I just selected the "Direct" flag in the HiRes Driver flags. MQA now unfolds to 96Kkz for the album I tested.
