This thing sounds like my iFi micro iDSD Black Label. Off the charts dynamism. Clean, detailed with just the right amount of warmth to prevent fatigue. Soundstage is not DX220 wide but definitely deeper with very good instrument separation. Love it.

Here it is, thought it will be a short first look preview, but turned into a more detailed design and sound analysis with other DAP comparisons (by an overwhelming requests from many people). I will still expand it into a full review with more pair up examples, etc, but for now enjoy this read!

Where did you get the driver to take out the board?

This 64 bit driver kit from MassDrop I got a few years ago is a Lifesaver!!!! Torx T4 fits perfectly to remove audio motherboard, and I think T5 might work as well.

That's how mine looked with the almost opaque protective screen covering to protect it in transit. Once I removed it and put the hard one on it. The screen is beautiful

Yes it still has the screen protector on, but i'm talking about the light bleed from the bottom right corner.

I was reading your post on my phone at a coffee shop while listening to my N6ii via Campfire Solaris iems. They are quite nice together. I received my N6ii yesterday and am currenlty playing it 24-7, more or less, to burn it in.
