Depends which AMP and I find the Lotoo more organic which was a surprise...
Stock amp. The older LPG was very neutral but narrow sound stage.

Yeah well, I hadn't heard the LGPT :p and the fact I am writing more reviews is also a factor, my taste in signature would go towards the N8 but the transparency and neutral nature of the Lotoo is so valuable for reviews...

Yes I auditionned the LPGT of course... and owning the LP6K got me an even deeper understanding of what the Lotoo can bring.

Never liked the SP1000, doubt I would like SP2000 and I couldn't afford one. Also got a sweet deal on LGPT that I couldn't get on N8 either so it was easy to decide. But as a reviewer the Lotoo is more neutral and transparent.

You are confusing me. I still cant figure out what is your preferred soind signature?

Warm or reference?
Cause I think lpgt is a very different sound sig from n8 and n6...
Lpgt is more like a reference natural sound lets say

I am more of a warm signature kind of guy, but don't forget with IEMs like FIBAE7 or EM10 for example with Lotoo I am getting organic and warm sound so all is well :)
I need a DAP that is not going to add or remove anything and Lotoo is remarkable that way :D

He can start EQing.

I never EQ... although I love ATE, might use PEQ outside of review time though...

I didnt like it , but if one wants flat sound then thats flat.

Dx200 probleme was not flat. But harsh cold analytical was very displeasing and that metalic timber was a complete no no.
Some folks said it sounds amazing with hd800s. When I tried it I was like . Does someone has hearing problems lol

Aaa I seee, sorta of reminds me the n6ii t01 amp a little, also I did not know lpgt was like I never heard it honestly.

To me it feels like you get reference sound and with the warmth and organic natural feel of it. Also like wm1z we can say.
Or maybe not haha. I know you said 1z is to old now boo boo

DX200 is a great DAP, I owned both DX200, DX200 Ti and DX220 not analytical or harsh I disagree. Never said 1Z is too old it's a great DAP also owned it, it has unique qualities but is coloring too much for reviewing.

But I think we should avoid derailing the thread now, we're off topic.

For the price of TOTL DAPs you can build a very nice desktop solution which will be 10 times better in SQ...and n6ii is more than enough for portable application..IMHO

I have two kids (7 and 3 years old) running around all the time when I'm at home (evenings and weekends) and I try to keep my desktop setup in more or less safe location with a limited access for them...so far so good, nothing was damaged yet ))). I don't have a dedicated room either. I did, 7 years ago ))

Just the living room aside from bedrooms so I don't know when I'd listen to it or which conditions in my case :p For the same reason, I keep selling all the open back headphones I tend to sometimes purchase...
