This. I have not heard similar separation and soundstage from another player. Every note is presented so powerfully without any harshness. Really allows you to push the volume.
Just plugged in grado rs1e... I could spend the whole night without moving, this is what I’m talking about, this is a Match made in heaven

For the reference, size comparison of 4.4mm (to 2.5mm/3.5mm) and 2.5mm (to 4.4mm/3.5mm) DD HiFi adapters.

Where to get it 4.4mm to (3.5mm/2.5mm) I don't find it on DD Hifi website?

Not going into details yet since I want to continue with burn in before I gather impressions for review, but so far after the initial 24hr burn in and while listening to U18t, the latest E01 in Class AB mode sounds like the best combo of A01 and T01 balanced outputs, despite E01 being only 3.5mm SE. And its Class A mode has a different and quite unique laidback analog flavor.

Now, we have a complete TEA collection of T01, E01, A01 modules

... and to continue on the list of wishes for comparisons: Your signature includes the LPGT, to mention one specifically next to the N8, WM1Z and Plenue L that were asked for already. But pretty sure you will compare to all top DAPs you have. Thanks in advance.

Sure, I can compare to all of these DAPs, except N8. Reviewed it over a year ago, was on loan, and I haven't heard it since. Sorry, A/B comparison by a distant memory will be inaccurate.

E01 top end is probably a touch better than N8 for detail retrieval although it's quite forward in upper mids (vocals).

N8 is more coherent / better balanced, better slam, more authority.

E01 soundstage vs N8 SE is wider but 2 dimensional. N8 has more height and depth.

E01 sub base is superb but between that and the treble there's something a little lacking in upper bass / lower mids.

All compared at around 70hrs on E01.

Using which IEMs or headphones? E01 set to Class A or Class AB? Please, include this info for the reference, along with a gain setting on either of the DAPs :)

a comparison between N6ii (E01) and ibasso dx220 (amp8) in sound quality would also be interesting, please

Anole vx, both A and AB (AB has more kick, not as liquid, highs not as lush), gain either LdB or MdB dependant on class.

If I stayed with n6ii it would be a tough call between E01 and T01, I'd want a good 200hrs on E01 before making a decision. N8 is where it's at for me with my preferred choice of music and IEM.

I can’t comment on that, but the closest motherboard to DX200/AMP8 is T01 to me in terms of signature. From what I am reading, E01 would rather compare to AMP4S or AMP5.
