I cant decide on the wm1a or n6ii wm1a can function as a dac amp through ur phone which eliminates the purpose of needing a dap with Google play etc. But cayin is future proof has more power and has everything you need except a mobile connection.

Wm1a has bigger soundstage (bal) but it sound thin compared to n6ii, pick your own posion bud.

I really wanted to pull the trigger on this bad boy, but no MQA licensing is what's holding me back. 95% of my listening at the moment is via offline/Tidal Masters and no full MQA support is a bummer . Well I guess I can pickup another IEM and stick to HIBY R6 Pro for now until M11 pro is released.

N6ii supports MQA by Tidal app and UAPP in software manner, Tidal even offline. I don’t see any problem for MQA - N6ii allows listening Masters albums offline.

Thank you! So what am I really losing by not having full hardware unfold/render followed by upsampling? So am I losing anything via software unfold and upsampling to 24/96? Any downside? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I had a DX220 before my N6ii and that is exactly what it does.

Well I definitely can't hear the difference between 96 and 192
I much prefer the N6ii though.

I use n6ii line out and alo cv 5 to get that tubey experience
