The 200 hour segment will take into consideration the mini-meet impressions, including those with your 007 mk I. I'm curious to see what Audiogalore's take on the sound is, especially since he as well is coming from a WEE.

Edit: It also looks as though you would end up owing me dinner.

Do you want me to bring my 009 as well?  Also, do you know what pre/integrated Audiogalore is using upstream to his WEE?

I'll e-mail you about the other thing shortly.

If not too much to ask. It would be nice to be able to compare whether my ant-free SR-009 still sounds within factory spec.

Nice to hear I wasn't hallucinating when listening to sachu's LL and the SR009 :)

The BH+SR007 did a bit more for me, but the LL+SR009 was a close runner-up.  They're both great combinations and I think it'll come down to personal preference.  I wish I could spend time with both setups, but I do remember the LL+SR009 having a great sense of presence with bass-heavy music.

I do agree they're both excellent, but for me it was the other way around. The 009+LL did a bit more for me.

By the way, Alex, how many LL are out threre?

By the deafening sound of crickets, one would assume it's just you and I who has them, but that can't be the case as I have a somewhat higher serial number within the batch and I know another member who has a LL. Perhaps those who do have them are too busy enjoying them and can't be bothered to post about their experience

Edit: and yes, the LL + 009 - ants = superlative

This production run of LLs was fairly small, but there are still more LLs out there than comments being made. And within the next week there will be a few more delivered.

Some of the new owners don't frequent HF or just don't post much. A few others, who have emailed me directly, prefer to listen quietly.

I guess it makes sense, since you reply all the emails and people dont have to post here on HF to have your attention.

But considering here is supposed to work as place of discussion, I'd like to comment that I'm really enjoying my LL. Hope all the owners out there are pleased as I am.

Really? I remember LL+SR009 being terrible with bass-heavy music

A demo loaner piece of the production Liquid LIghtning just landed at my door intended for the Seattle meet this saturday.

Quite impressed with the way this amp has turned out. Congrats Alex.  Looking forward to listening to it for the next couple of days
