For Beyerdynamic it would be best to have the Amiron Home and the T1 2nd Gen before the 880 or 770. The Amiron Home retails for $599 and has a Tesla driver. Should probably be considered the baby brother to the T1. I think a lot of attendees would be more interested in the Amiron than most models in the Beyerdynamic line.

I agree, the Pro vs 600 Premium Model differences aren't that much and with the noise you likely can't hear the improvements the 600 offers, and there are differences but they are quite marginal

@Army-Firedawg see if they would be willing to send you one DT 770 pro OR premium, one DT 880 Pro OR Premium and then the Amiron Home instead of 2 of the 880s or 770s

So I'm talking with the rep and he says they're all pro models. The naming is just the model PRO followed by its ohm variant. I requested 250ohm for they're the most popular as he also agrees. So I'm getting 1 880 pro250 and 1 770 pro 250 and I'll ask about the Amiron Home

@dpump I haven't seen you on here, welcome. Are you going to be able to attend the meet?

@dpump it's good to see you! I hope you are able to attend

An yea I think the Pros are the best to have, in terms of Value. Hopefully we can get the Amiron as well! BE nice to hear their line up from 880 -> Amiron -> T1!

Not to argue, but some of us with limited budgets and kids who listen too are interested in the lower end products too so maybe good to get some of both.

That's a good point, a persons interest in audio doesn't mean they have to spend a lot of money. But I have to ask, why did this need to be brought up?

Just a previous comment about people being more interested in the Omiron than the 770 or 880. "then the Amiron Home instead of 2 of the 880s or 770s".

For my daughter a budget of $150-200 would be a lot to spend on audio as a college student. I think the best bet to grow the meet and the hobby is to be as inclusive as possible and that means bringing in the budget as well as the high end.

Fair enough, but looking through the products coming I think we're pretty good on that front.

Good deal, I was playing catch up on the thread and hadn't seen the final list.
I think my daughter might make it with us too if her school schedule will allow.

Got confirmation, everything listed is coming, in ADDITION TO the amiron home!

@Wiljen I think we hving the DT 880 PRo which is around that $200 price range coming in addition TO the Amiron Home!

Yep, just read that too. I have a soft spot for the Beyer 880s as that was one of my first "real" headphones.

that'd be awesome if she could join us!! I already have another potential one from my YouTube channel who said he'd try and come. But I love the 880's (32 ohm) as well as Beyerdynamic (and Shure) were my first 2 high end brands I was introduced to when I worked at InMotion Entertainment (used to be a high end audio store [in the airport] that got me into this hobby, now, unfortunately, it's pretty much just a gift shop that sells a couple nice headphones).

dpump here: Thanks for Mshenay and Army-Firedawg for remembering me from the Greensboro meet last year. I do plan on attending and checking out some of the newer phones I haven't heard yet like the Focal Clear and the Beyerdynamic Amiron Home. Also look forward to chatting with you guys. Always fun to converse with other enthusiasts and learn new things.
