Haven't heard the M17 so I can't compare. It's quick (as expected from a 660 equiped DAP). A quick impression is that it's a more refined sounding M11 Plus ESS. Clean sounding (too clean for my ears). I like the volume pot, very smooth.

which ones did you try? (which one was had more bass?)

for us the blue one definitely had more bass; iirc the red one had more bass @ CJ NYC?

Must say I'm very surprised at the lack of activity and paucity of impressions on this thread (and the Watercooler). Considering CJNY has 63 pages of impressions, and CJ Singapore is the IEM Mecca, I'd have expected far more content here. Maybe the IEM crowd is far more introsprective.

Red was the more neutral warm to me while the blue was the more V one. Definitely prefer the red one, super clear and cohesive.
