btw.. just drop by, and worth to mention that ibasso DC04 works great with old Solaris OG.
No hiss due to recent tech, unlike previous version DC01/DC02.
even worthy then S1 IMHO... due to RF signal issued...
OG will always be the sexiest iem on the market. i really wish that in one of the next 7 variants that will come in the next 2 years we'll have a gold/black combo again, which hopefully doesn't flake.

I dunno the MW10 edges it imho. CFA should have an online configurator like Vision Ears where people can go in and configure their Andro or Solaris to the color/design/style they want. If they could pull it off I imagine they'd make a killing.

Well, I am trying the dongle, pilot, it has only 2 colors even though I use tidal master. The sound is just louder and cannot yet hear the difference yet. Did not spend much time with it yet.
But the sound on the headset with se200 is amazing!

Do you prefer the AKM or ESS side with the Solaris?
I used to have the Solaris OG and miss the holographic soundstage. Recently got the SE200 and am getting the itch to try the Solaris 2020, though I'm enjoying my 64 Nio at the moment.

Both are pretty good with the Solaris SE. I find that the AKM side is more dynamic and precise with a 'taller' stage whereas the ESS side seems to emphasis the mids and make them more expansive while aiming for coherency. Which side I choose usually depends on what music I'm listening to.
