Yes pplover, to me the SE is better than the 2020.se better than solaris 2020?

@pplover I think the two are very close. I would recommend either to be honest. Both are outstanding IEMs.I haven't heard the 2020, but if you're prepared to spend the money on either, and fit is not likely to be an issue, then I would heartily rec the SE.
Yea, help our boy out. Win Win.@pplover I think the two are very close. I would recommend either to be honest. Both are outstanding IEMs.
If you want the SE you can buy mine (listed for sale on this site)
female pop and rock from Japan? if it is, and ur first buy, try Andro S or G first if possible...planning to buy my first campfire earphone, i am using sony zx507 and lotoo gold touch, and pop rock and female vocal is my music taste,so andromeda or solaris which one is better?
yes , its "still" a solarisOK I sold the U12t (goodbye babies) and now I have to decide between Solaris SE and 2020.I could have both for more or less the same price.
I like the fact the solaris 2020 is smaller and it has sligthly more bass but what are your thoughts about differences in soundstage and instrument separation compared to the SE? The famous holographic soundstage and outstanding instrument separation are the reason I always wanted to try a Solaris and I would like to know if the 2020 still has them. Thanks
Motivated by @Tristy, here is a comparison of the FR between 2020 and SE with axis scale aligned (and a slight y shift)
Crinacle's Solaris SE measurement on 711-compliant rig = Green line
Jude's Measurements of the Solaris 2020 (GRAS) = Red and Blue
Almost no difference in FR below ~3.3 kHz. 4-5 kHz valley is filled with 2020.
I would not say it is completely useless. Both rigs are compliant with the IEC 60318-4 (711) standard. Caveat applies more to high frequencies where insertion depth and choice of tips matter.I'm sorry, but comparing graphs of measurements made on different rigs is completely useless. These were done on two different rigs...
you are welcome to think however you like, my friend. from a technical point of view, this comparison IS useless: Different rig, different people recording, etc.I would not say it is completely useless. Both rigs are compliant with the IEC 60318-4 (711) standard. Caveat applies more to high frequencies where insertion depth and choice of tips matter.
There's a point where I don't know what to believe.
Are the fr graphs the whole truth in this story? I know this would be a flaming question, but it's a honest one. I think, maybe misunderstanding, than some tangible aspects like resonances, soundstage, instruments separations, etc. might not be reflected in a FR graph. Do they?
