#1 of 30 checking in. They are gorgeous, if I do say so myself :)
Just popped them in…it’s been awhile since I heard the “OG” Andro Golds, but these seem to have a bit more treble sparkle and wider stage than I remember, but I say that with low confidence as it’s off of memory. Perhaps due to using updated BAs?

Yep I’m guessing it’s the same titanium casing.
You’ve got #1…would have been cool if mine were #30…just showed up now 😁

Good lord. Doesn't the titanium shell feel so great? I loved it on the Ara.

For those who have Spotify, CFA's IG page asked users to respond with some of their favorite tracks for testing gear and made the results into a playlist...some good ones here:

Listening to Dire Straits I could hear the stage is expansive as I recalled on the Honeydew. Electric guitar strings now have better tone, kinda like the Satsuma, but more 'correct' with well-defined weight and bite up top. And the drum percussions all have really good attack and definition, playing in the background not ahead of the main mids, pretty realistic placement. And snares/cymbals are nice too, not too sharp nor splashy. I think drum instruments may be Onyx's strength

And on the James Blake track, the sub-bass is excellent, not too bassy, very well-controlled with good deep reach and natural decay like how a DD should. No sharp treble peaks to report of so far, but not too far-extending as well. Resolution is medium not too detailed/analytical, and overall pleasantly enjoyable to listen to on the go

Basically how Honeydew & Satsuma combined would sound like! :)

How do you like those Vegas? That white looks sick! My 2020 Dorados gunmetal looks just as good and sounds really good as well. Clear, articulate, detailed w a lot of sub bass and packs a punch…not for the faint of heart 😂

The Vegas are quite fun, definitely bass cannons though (which is what I was expecting) - they are only suitable for EDM for me.

Listening to Onyx #46 right now! Overall impressions - After the first 20 or 30 minutes of listening the soundstage seemed to grow.... was small / compact at first then as it is breaking in / loosening up the stage grew. I'm using the marshmallow tips it shipped with at first, to get a good sense of them before I try different tips. Base is really solid and has good extension. Vocals are distinct both in sound and 'place' in the soundstage. Doesn't seem to be quite as dynamic as my OrionCK, but I am certain that will change as the Onyx break in. So far I really like them, very 'lively' sounding.

Listening with a Dragonfly 1.5 off of Apple Lossless on MacBookPro.

The Andromeda TI set will get opened and tested tomorrow!!!

I did a (really crappy) unboxing video of the Onyx in case anyone is interested.
