yea. for me i like the matt green look compared to the bling bling. if the blue ones are still available i’ll take it immediately
i actually did an a/b test between the s and non s. even though it’s very hard to pick the difference i still prefer the non s due to the presence of treble spark. but that’s just my personal opinion

I'd go for the blue in a heartbeat. I like my colors in Ices or Fires. No Earth. Could you imagine a deep burning Orange/Red in cerakote? Oooooooh....yea. for me i like the matt green look compared to the bling bling. if the blue ones are still available i’ll take it immediately

Edit: correction. Not Ices, but daytime skies.

I also like the green more than every other special color edition they made, second fav is the pacific blue.
I actually like green more than the steel aesthetically, but I do like forward mids.

Agreed. I like the green more too as it's like limited edition. Atlas, Comet and Andromeda S are in SS, look not uncommon.I also like the green more than every other special color edition they made, second fav is the pacific blue.

I suppose they are cashing in on the limited edition hype. The original green ones are discounted to approximately USD850.Not the same price compare to the original green one ?

Hi, All.
I have been eyeing the Andromeda for a while now. I tried it in a store and I loved the sound. The only thing stops me from buying it was the green color.
Now there is this "S" version of it... Won't say it is the prettiest thing ever, but (to me) it surely beats out the green one aesthetically. So I really want to pull the trigger.
But after reading this thread from page 370-ish, I saw people saying the Andromeda S has quite a difference sound signature. Even it seems like it is changing for the good(like adding some density to the mids/vocals). But now I am not sure whether I am gonna like the new sound compare to the original one.
Decisions decisions...

I can confirm that out of all the tips I have (stock tips, SpinFits, Comply, Symbio W/N) the JVC Spiral Dots give me the best sound.
The sound is crisp, quick, full and balanced. Comfort and insertion ease are good too. I’m usually a L in SpinFits, L in Symbio W/N and a M for Comply but a ML in JVC Spiral Dots for reference.
Btw, really liking the E5000 stock cable with the Andromeda. I might give the E5000 with the Andromeda stock cable to my gf and keep the E5000’s cable![]()
I tried a M size Spiral Dot, and yes it does sound better than the Spinfit. Not sure if I will like the foam tips.

Same here! To me, Andromeda is one of the most beautiful IEMs ever created!
