Which DAP is the best (ie no hissing, output impedance between 1-2 Ohms) for the Andromeda without using IEmatch?

I use IEmatch when using the Andromeda with my soundcard and mobile phone(both has hissing without IEmatch). I use the high setting most often but I feel its still lacking something. The ultra setting has a bit more bass than I would have liked. I can imagine the sweet spot may be somewhere in between the 2 settings.

actually looking for something that makes the Andromedas brighter. i heard the sony ones makes it warmer.

Changing the cable to pure silver will make it brighter. I have one and can confirm...but it is a little too bright for my tastes.

At such a dramatic difference in retail price, is there a way to know the hardware is authentic? If it is, I know where I'll be shopping for my ZX300.

If it's that much less expensive, purely based upon internal storage, the savings alone could by a 512GB SD card. I'm all over that.

Liking the pairing with EA Lionheart with PSquared plug. Gold + Silver + copper core cable. More bass slam yet retains all of its BA speed without sacrificing treble extension and impact.

I tried the Oriveti Affinity and found any minuscule difference in sound wasn’t worth the added bulk of the cable, so I returned it. YMMV.

Yes, different mid driver for a very slight bump to the mids. Cannot overstate "slight" enough. Most will buy due to the aesthetics imho.

Just the original when it came out. I was just paraphrasing Ken's description. I am in the camp of just liking the new aesthetics. Never did like green and was always a day or 2 short of getting one of the limited edition versions.

I am buying specifically for the aesthetics. I cannot bear the idea of wearing that green in my ears. The "S" is probably something I won't be able to hear, but may one day.
