After going from ALO Litz to ALO ref 8 to ibasso CB13 bal to litz balanced, i am now back on ref 8 balanced.

Do you find there is much difference between the Litz balanced and the Ref 8 balanced? i have the former, but need another balanced cable so was giving it some thought...

Have a look at my signature below.
There is a link to my reviews.

I compare the ALO cables in one of them.

Enjoy. Good luck

Oh no! Please don't use your IEMs in the sauna. Balanced armature drivers are sensitive to both high temperatures and humidity. Taken from Knowles' guideline: "Most of Knowles’ products incorporate materials which should not be subjected to temperatures in excess of 63°C (145°F)."
Humidity is dangerous for IEMs as well. Especially the Andromeda is sensitive as it's metal is usually cold and a good place for condensation. You don't want water inside your IEM and even less inside the BAs as they will start to corrode.

PS: I wouldn't worry about the glue too much.
So, using BA iems for workouts shouldn't be recommended due to build up of condensation inside the drivers? I wonder what are all the conditions for condensation build up inside the BA drivers?

Let me put it like this: It's better not to use your IEMs for workouts. Though they can be used, but there should be taken care that moisture which enters the IEM can escape as fast as possible. Otherwise the drivers may corrode.
Drying capsules like this will help to protect your IEMs:

- Thomann

Also there are dedicated dehumidifiers for hearing aids and IEMs:

Does anyone find the marshmallow tips fit juuuust a little larger than the complys? I really want to use the marshmallows as I like that they're CA's own and they feel nicer in my hand, but the Complys seem just a bit more comfortable.

I wonder if it's ok to post here since I bought Orion. Campfire Audio accidentally sent me a box of Andromeda out of the blue. I talked to Campfire Shipping team. I sent it back via a shipping label they gave me, it was by accident that it was shipped to me.

I decided to buy Orion CK on their website. The shipping lead of Campfire she gave me all these goodies. I didn't even know a Campfire artbook existed :o I even got an Orion art gift card! And a free ALO Pouch with backup cables and comply foam tips filled to the brim.

They value your honesty :) For some, they would just keep the Andromeda.

Question for those using their Andromedas with an iPhone 6 - at what volume do you listen to? I like listening at 3 clicks above mute, but mostly restrict myself to 2 to protect my hearing, especially since the Andros are so sensitive. Any responses (and/or loudness measurements) would be very helpful :) thanks!

On a tangentially related note, I’ve been liking the symbio tips with my Andros a lot. Spinfits sounded just a little thin to me, while comply foams muffled the treble a little too much for my taste. The symbio tips strike a nice balance between the two with the added bonus of excellent isolation. They are a little stiff and leave my ears feeling a little sore after a while, so hoping I get used to them for longer use.

I was intrigued by the symbio tips after reading about them here. They look like the Penon tips with a ring of foam added to them.

I would consider the Cascade if I hadn't just received a pair of NightOwls. I will keep with saving for the Andromeda for now...pacific blue or green? hmmmm....
