Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

Just don't let the condensation seeps into the holes.

Mine happened recently. then 1 side got softer than the other side. I was going to send for repair but after i left it for a few hours the sound returned to normal.

Hmm. I never noticed. Cold around here, on average -5C and I wore them under my tuque. I checked and my ear seems to keep the aluminum housing at body temp under the tuque.  I shovelled the driveway twice due to heavy snow and blowing on Sunday. I spent about an hour each time listening to Goove Salad out of my iPhone 5. The Andromedas do well, even with poor sources. But they do even better out of my AK100ii. At one point I was a bit worried, as I was noticing some distortion in the bottom end, but as it turns out it's in the recording (end of 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Parts 6-9').

Condensation due to temp differential was not on my mind at the time...but seems obvious enough now.  I use cat litter silica beads in a baggie and locked away into a sealed hard case from inearz. Its a cheap and abundant desiccant.
I wasn't thinking of condensation since is alway so dry in the house, no more than 35% humidity in the height of winter here.

Probably happens in more humid places.

If the condition is excellent - yes. If B-stock, then it's more subjective.

Mm he said he did buy it from B stock but he told me he basically used it for a day and there was no scratches or blemishes.

Should I be concerned?

B-Stock Andro's go for $850 brand new. I don't know if the warranty if you buy them used. Just for peace of mind, I would just buy straight from ALO if the price is $850. Anything used, regardless of how long, should come with a minimum 10% discount IMO. Otherwise, there's no incentive to buy unless there's an availability shortage. Just my 2 cents, though.

I have done approximately 10 hours of listening on Andro and find the treble reaching to the point just about clean and right. This thing also detects super minor electrically generated noises on my iPhone, which is probably the least hissing source available for portable use...
Has anyone tried iFi iEMatch adapter? I want to use other sources from time to time but Andro hiss like crazy on everything except my phone.

Which is the case. B stock don't last long

Should I ask for a refund? Did I pay to much for it used from a seller. I missed the b stock sale that's why :(

Edit: I will just keep it

I have it and it works well with the Andro but it will force you to drive the sources at a much higher volume level.

If the B-Stock is out of stock on the ALO site and you don't want to wait, you might as well keep them. I don't think you got ripped off or anything but the seller probably should have given you a little discount. He basically got a free trial at your expense. Nevertheless, the Andro's are beyond awesome at that price, regardless of whether they're used, B-stock, or both. Just forget about it and enjoy the tunes

The Andromeda are totally quiet on my desktop setup but portable is indeed a challenge.

I ordered the iFi iDSD Micro Black Label today (yes, long name) since I read opinions saying it pairs well with the Andro (with zero hiss and warm, with emphasis on emphasised low frequencies) but haven't received it yet to confirm.

Should be here in a day or two.
