Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

On the subject of tips. It is quite personal, there is fit/comfort and sound. I A/B compared quite a few and the only one that can stay in my ear for long and sounding full is the Spinfit CP500.
I wasn't aware of this tip until somebody recommended it. I actually quite like the performance CP100, but it's narrow bore, so will not work for Andro. Had no idea that CP500 was a widebore offering by Spinfit. Will see how it goes.

Guys, can i have some opinions. Of course, eye (ear?) of the beholder and tastes etc. But for Electronic music (slowish, 128bpm mostly, very melodic, non chart/commercial) and techno, would the Andro S or Andro 2019s be better for me?
I have both and prefer the Andro-S for this kind of music, just gives that little extra that’s needed at times. I’ve just bought the Solaris at Canjam after spending hours comparing it to the Andro-S and found them very similar using my WM1Z. I preferred the Solaris but there’s not much in it, two great iems. I’m keeping my green Andro’s and selling my SS version simply because the Solaris replaces them and compliments the original green Andro’s.

I personally like the green Andro better bc of the extended highs and liquified mids.

I found the Andro S a little too lifted in the mids, although very good still.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either. I actually recommend the green Andro for electronic, techno etc. bc a more U or V shape would be nice.

A great combo btw. M11 + Andromedas + iEMatch.

I usually don’t like iEMatch because it does mute the dynamics a bit but with the M11, it does work well.

I demoed the Andromeda V2 and it fit me well with a medium Ortofon tip. Now, I have the chance to get a V1 Andromeda for an affordable price, but will the fit still be good? Is there a drastic difference between the comfort/fit of V1 and V2? There’s no way to test it since it’s gonna be shipped.

The fit should still be the same. The improvements were mostly on the machining finish and V2 has a stainless steel nozzle instead of the aluminum of the V1.
