My friend have the 600 ohms and me the 250 ohms.
We tested with headphone directly on X-Meridian 7.1 sound card and using SinglePower MPX3-Slam to confirm the results.
We took time to adjust with pinknoise both headphone using RadioShack sound level meter to be sure to have the same level.
I prefer much more the 250 ohms. More dynamics and better envelopping.
Mids seem more pleasant ... I don't know how to described that. Highs on the 600 ohms are a bit softer to the 250 ohms.
I hope will help you to take a decision.
