Great choice in music (AC/DC!), the T1s actually outperform my RS1s and D7000s (both known for being great rock headphones) when it comes to AC/DC, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Rush, and Pink Floyd.

This is what really set's the T1s apart from the HD800 for me as I still preferred the RS1s/D7000s with rock over the Sennheisers. And I do listen to a lot of rock (90%+). However, I did prefer the HD800s over the RS1/D7000s with pretty much everything else, but that only took up less than 10% of my entire listening time.

I'm keeping the RS1s because I still really dig that Grado sound and the D7000s because I need a closed headphone option (mainly to keep my wife and kids happy).

Soooo good to hear. That is also why the D7000 are my next cans.

vcoheda – Yes, I have practiced. T1 are powerful for classical music too. It needs detailed review and description, because there are different „types“ of classical music. The opera is really good, but there I prefer good tube amp. For „instrumental“ solos I prefer perfect solid amp. So you will be satisfied with T1.

MacedonianHero – Yes, T1 are better then RS1 in general. I listen once RS1. I was not so fascinated. For rock, yes, they are powerful, bass impact is looking good, but there are many typical Grado drawbacks. T1 are much better. In same order PS 1000. I listen them in Viena last november. Bass is perfect, middles, someting yeas, something not, but highs miserable. Detail, down in compare with HD 800 or T1. Soundstage incomparable. I think, technologically T1 or HD 800 are class higher. So I think, you made with the purchase of HD 800 perfect decision.

Damn I though I was lucky when I ordered the t1 on their website and saw the 747.90 price tag but a few clicks forward and the order turned to be 905 euro.
Oh well just have to wait now, the website says 8-10 weeks before delivery.
For those who have ordered from their website, how long have you all waited before receiving yours?

Listened to the T1 yesterday at a local hifishop, and.... my wallet took a hit.

For the first time I think I need to sell off some gear to keep my wife happy when she notices my new headphone in a couple of days.

Ihcog, if the promised delivery time for me is correct it's really bad that you have to wait that long. Seems like they prefer retail deliveries to their direct orders. Or, it may be that the shop or its distributor have put in their orders a long time ago.
