For those who have tried both the T1 and T90 - how different are the two headphones?  How would you describe the sound of the T1 compared to the T90?

I have a T90 but I wonder if I should return it for a T1?

I got them from razor dog for $525 with shipping. I love them, lots of air that I don't get with my hd 800s. Sparkling highs without cracking an eardrum like my grados..they are all I listen to now

*face palm* man I really want a pair of these, Actually price wise, how do the T90s compared to a balanced Dt 880 600ohm?

It's a complete upgrade to the DT880s...

I know that, but my next question is what is cheaper, a balanced Dt 880 or a T90, and which is BETTER.

Plus I don't even own a blanced amp? Some one want to help me find the right [and potienally cheapest] Balanced Amp that I can find :D that would pair well with the Dt 880s [my budget is a low as possible while still not totally sucking] No more than a $1,000 both, still though does a balanced Dt 880 sound better than a T90?

But... why not get a T90 and then balance that. ;D

Oh no, I'm way ahead of you. Since he loves the DT880, T1's sound signature will be more to his liking. So, the best thing would be to get the T1's, balance them and THEN use them with his new balanced tube amp fed by a balanced DAC.

I think you just doomed his wallet into oblivion. lol

DAMN you to hell and back xD, I need the cheapest in the family of most epic Byer Cans to balance, back on the subject [of killing my wallet] so what are my options for a good Balanced Amp for a balanced Dt 880, also could and should I use a dt 880 pro 250 or a Pre 600? And in addition, is the STOCK T90 better than a balanced Dt 880 :D

I think no matter how you drive the DT880s, the drivers are still going to be held back by their fuzzy imaging. The T90 improves on that immensely. If imaging isn't important and you're just enjoying the music, at almost double the price, it might not be worth it.

Nobody knows, you should buy one after you balance your DT880's and let us know. xD

It doesn't matter, I'll hold on to my T1 cable. Its such a high quality cable you know, I could easily use it a rope to climb out of a well with it. Which can't be said for a DT880 cable...so, I think you know what to do. :p
