for now I put in burn-in another 18 hours about then I try tonight.
Yes? which dap would you recommend me?I actually noticed when pairing the r3 with the mojo that the output level was significantly reduced compared to feeding it from other daps or a computer. I am now still using a Pono player in balanced mode to run my amirons for a couple years and it is one of my favorite pairings for portable use
thanks, I'll try later.Hey cirodts, what you are talking about is the midbass forwardness of the Amiron. This is just part of stock sound of this headphone. I also find the Amiron too midbass forward. Give my EQ set that I created for the Amiron a try and let me know what you think. I think you will be impressed with the difference, as it makes the headphone sound more balanced and neutral.

Now I tried on your EQ, actually the sound is already much better thanks, tomorrow I'll try after the last burn-in.Hey cirodts, what you are talking about is the midbass forwardness of the Amiron. Now reading around the forums for the r3, it seems I was having a similar issues as others... the r3 still has volume control and gain active even when connecting to mojo with usb or coaxial. So the recommendation is to ensure the EQ is off, volume on r3 all the way up and gain=H, then control the volume with the mojo.Yes? which dap would you recommend me?
I have hiby r3 usb-coax output to the mojo, why should not it play well?
Thanks for the advice, because I do not have to use the EQ I will not have a bit-perfect signal? Now reading around the forums for the r3, it seems I was having a similar issues as others... the r3 still has volume control and gain active even when connecting to mojo with usb or coaxial. Now I need to find a place that will 3d print one of those fancy cases that hold the r3 and mojo together. It's still a tossup as to which headphones I prefer with the pono balanced output vs with the mojo.
Hi,
I have a cheap offering for the Amiron Home. However, the cable is missing. Would a cheap insert cable like these work?

Would this be good as balanced?
