BEST VALUE ''around 100-300$'' CHIFI & NEWCOMERS IEM with REFERENCE List (no BIG brands here)

Okay...we need more suggestions here....because IMO the 100-300$ price range is the only one you can find END GAME audiophile bargain.

Sure, Audiosense T800 still is the unbeatable one.

Tin Hifi P1 is rather....meh.

Vsonic VS9 is good but dont worth 2 times the price of VS7.

Spring1 still is excellent.

AND AND AND THE IKKO OH10 LOOK LIKE TO BE INCREDIBLE FROMMY FIRST IMPRESSIONS. If you love the OH1 but feel balance was a little off, bass too sub centric and vocal timbre kinda artificial....OH10 is a big upgrade and solve all OH1 issue without sacrifiing bassyliciousness. I have big expectation and they surpass it. Its more vivid and detailed than Oh1 but strangely less harsh.

Think VS7 deseves to be on that list for $100 price bracket. It's a significant step up from budget fi.

Crinacle wasn't impressed by the Obravo Cupid from his early impressions (see link above). It seems to have rave reviews in their dedicated thread though.

Audiosense T800 is still the IEM to beat in the sub $300 price range IMHO. Word is they are tuning a new flagship with more drivers, to be released next year, so stay tuned (no pun intended).

To me, the LZ A6 is the unbeatable one in the under 300.00 price bracket. To me, it beats the T800 by a fair margin. I know few members have heard both, but I know the one member (I can't remember his name for the life of me) have them equal status, depending on preference, but to me it's hands down the A6.
I don't mean to be repetitive, but I just did a prolonged Fearless Audio review tour and had all iem's from the start-s10 genie, and the A6 was technically and musically better than all, in my opinion and for my preferences. They're truly end game sound for only 300.00 or less.

How would you compare VS7 to OH10 based on your impressions so far?
man....my impressions is really BETA for now...i can talk trough my hat....like saying VS7 have thicker timbre, bigger soundstage while OH10 have more vivid detailed presentation and imaging, more bass, more upper treble sparkle...cant say that much. I will compare them soon...for this thread.

okay...but did YOU heard both?

in fact, they can be both end game. why not?

LZ A6 will most likely be in the list soon. in plan updating it...so, thanks for your toughs.

I feel Fearless might be BS overhyped...did not hear lot of real consumers review about them. I'm very very suspicious about Linsoul Audio as well.

Yes, yes, I only speak on gear that I personally have auditioned. I really hate when people say this is better than this or that and have never heard one or the other.
In full transparency though, I have only listened to the T800 for about a total of a half hour now, so I am not one to be able to speak on them with absolutes. They were not bad by any means for me, but I just felt like may be I couldn't gel with the way they tuned the BA bass to try and mimic a dynamic driver bass. To me, it sounded good, but is actually slower and slightly bloated sounding compared to the A6 bass, which is lighting quick and agile for a dynamic. Again though, the T800 sound GREAT, it's just I feel the A6 was better in a straight up comparison, for me and my preference and sources used.
I do believe someone could take the T800 or the A6 and be happy for their whole lives. They're both great, great gear and exactly what I hoped I'd find when I started in this chi-fi love affair long ago.
It amazes me how far we've come and how amazing gear we can get now for so little money!!!!
Thank you @NymPHONOmaniac for all that you've done in helping bring the chifi into the mainstream consciousness. You were instrumental in me being exposed to this crazy love affair, lol.
Now for a little iem porn! These are currently my favorite gear. The LZ A6 and Toneking T88k!
Also, I agree about the Fearless brand may be being a little over hyped. They're a good brand, with consistent well tuned iem's, but damn they aren't bargain priced at all. They're not very price to performance oriented, in my humble opinion. Others mileage may vary. I don't have much exposure to Linsoul really, so I can't speak on them. I think I've only bought 1 iem from them, and that was the BGVP dmg. It was a fairly typical purchase, with normal price and slow shipping, with no after purchase support needed, so again I have nothing negative or positive to say about them.1107192254c.jpg

Have you heard the NF Audio NA1? I thought it was good when I listened to it briefly at an audio show. I liked the ikko OH10 too and put both on my list as ones to buy. Have you tried those Ikko foam tips? Love those! Just curious since I haven’t heard anyone who’ve bought the NF Audio’s.

I had a good listen to the Obravo Cupid whilst I was in Hong Kong and I was immediately impress ed by the mid-bass, vocal quality etc. However they let me down by having limited bass extension, somewhat boomy bass and annoying thump, and I am a basshead! The bass also lacked some texture. I prefer the Blon-03 to this.

Which music genres do you listen more to?

I posted thoughts on both the Magaosi K5 and BGVP DM6 with photos months ago in this thread. And while I’m not up to date on the IEM of the month hype; I’ve always found this section of the market to be the most exciting.

Would like to add the $389 Fearless S6Rui to the consideration of many on this thread. And while the 6 BA S6 does go outside the rules/box here it’s a pretty big step up in sound. Just thought I would add to the confusion.....:)......but rather it may be found used around some of the prices for IEMs here? Also I’m pretty sure it still rules the $400 bracket?
