Best Soundstage in an UNIVERSAL IEM?...

Are the Soundstage from IE80 & IE800 better than Stagediver 2? A PSB M4U4 IEM also has a very good Soundstage in width and depth.

No Stagediver 2. But 80 and 800 have huge soundstage. Especially 80 with comply tips. It's larger than the much hyped Havi B3 and especially, Senns.' make great on soundstage height, which is lacking of most IEMs. So many people hype 3D sound stage of Havi, when comparing with 80 or 800, its height is much lower, though still better than all the budgeted IEMs I have. I have few mid and high end IEMs. Except 80 and 800, only another mid tier I have is KEF M200, which is another giant of holographic sound. Only these three have a comparable soundstage height with width and depth.
I found not many people paid attention to soundstage height. I listen mainly to symphonies, without soundstage height, you cannot get the feeling of listening in a concert hall.

Hmm, for 10 times the price it should be more 3D! IMHO anyone wanting something with awesome soundstage and a grand to spend should at least try the B3 for $60 especially if they already have a Mount Blanc attached to their X5:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is true. Maybe at <$100, one cannot find a IEMs has a holographic sound as B3.

Great feedback on this thread but hard to say without hearing and testing them all.

All I know is IE800 is literally JAW DROPPING soundstage, depth and space  for an earbud.  Left me speecheless.  Worth every penny.

What do you use to drive IE800?

It can have this amazing soundstage with a Fiio X5ii for example

it still puzzles me how relatively plain engineering in psychoacoustics can rival even the best iems/headphones
