I never said anything about series 2 of it. I mentioned only x800 and x900 which is conventional 3.5 mm, not type c to 3.5.

I feel shame for their 2nd gen product as well.

Thanks . i have ordered the OSTRY KC06A . Hope its a match for my Meizu Pro 5. 
 
meizu pro5 continues to impress, its an excellent music player, but a so-so smartphones. i am facing issues with push notification delay with it. else no gripes

Why don't you try custom ROMs?

Problem is , i am unable to Root it. i am unable to login to my meizu account cos the previous owner has not 'properly logged out'. bought it off amazon warehouse deal so was pre-used

Bought recently Superlux HD 668B, but it seems that my Alcatel Idol 3 has powerful problem to drive it.
Sound is great, but not as powerful as my old Panasonic RP DJ 600 at the same volume level setting.
 
I listen to Flac and Poweramp / JetAudio players.
 
As the same volume, Panasonic sounds louder than Superlux.
Why ? 40mm vs 50mm speakers ? Superlux is not a smartphone headphone ?

I was about to buy the Meizu 5 Pro, but I realized that I still want to have LTE band 20. Thus, the Meizu 5 Pro is unfortunately out.
 
​So here are my requirements / wishes:

1. LTE Band 20
2. Dual SIM
3. SD Card (separated from SIM Slot)
4. ​Outstanding Sound Quality
5. ​OTG (plan to buy a Chord Mojo)
6. IEM: Nuforce Primo 8

 
If I renounce the extra-SD slot, the ZTE Axon 7 comes shortlisted.
​Does anyone have experience with the ZTE Axon 7 in combination with the NuForce Primo 8?
