I'm pretty new to this so i'm pretty clueless...

Basically I'll be using this for my ipod and computer. Preferably a model that doesn't leak sound out.

I'm looking to spend $300-400

Beyer DT250? You're going to get a lot of different recommendations :p

If you take a PS1000 and switch it to bowls, the bass thumps so hard, while the treble remains so sparkly, that they sound like they're being amped - even when they're not.

Audio Technica ESW9. They are the best all-round headphones I've used out of an iPod. They also look great.

I'd suggest ESW9a.. I also own the P5 as a 'curiosity headphone' which you could conceivably prefer but I would not reccomend those unless you can audition them or return them...

32 ohms, mini jack, possibly for portable devices without amping.

with a budget of $300-400, you could buy a pair of cans along with a decent amp, if you have no issues with a amp (portability etc etc) I highly suggest looking into a amp

truthfully, you don't need to start out so big, try some headphones in the or around the $100-150 range, at this price range, you get a lot more bang for your buck and as you move higher up on the chain, the improvements come at a stratospheric price

ES7 for looks, Creative Aurvana Live/D1001 for comfort, sound, and multi-purpose. They just don't isolate well, but barely leak out.
