Hi all,

I currently own a Klipsch Custom 3 and I've just taken up DJing. I've read on some DJ blogs that its better for your hearing to use IEMs for monitoring, but trouble is, I still can;t get used to them. I still prefer headphones to IEM for DJing.

So I'm looking for some suggestion for portable closed headphones. I know at $60 I can't get anything nearly as good as my KC3 but I want my phones at least to has:

1. Good isolation (for DJs is a must)
2. Nice bass (I'm not a basshead, but a healthy amount of bass would be nice)
3. Portable (preferably foldable) and have good build quality (i.e. they will last long)
*. Swivel earcups (Good to have, but I can get away without one)

So far I'm leaning toward the AKG K81/518DJ as they seems pretty good for the price but I heard some other suggestion such as ATH-M30, Senny HD205, and Sony MDR-V6. I'm confused.

So do you guys think the K518 is any good? Or you can suggest any other headphones different from the above for me. I can stretch my budget a little bit but not too much (I gotta save some $$$ for my Custom-3 reshelling too, they're currently FUBAR - literally)

Thanks in advance.
