What I struggle with personally when I describe how tips affect sound is... "Compared to what?" If we say a model adds bass, what is it in comparison to? Because we can't compare it to not using tips, haha

Maybe use a baseline eartip that is considered neutralish, for example Spinfit CP145. And one can then make comparisons of bass/treble amount etc based on it. An even better option, is if you have graphing equipment, one can even show objective changes with different tips affecting the bass/treble/mids. Unfortunately, areas like isolation and comfort and soundstage are much harder to show objectively with tip changes.
Anyways speaking about Spinfits, I would recommend the Spinfit CP145 for those that want something with a longer nozzle that is very comfortable with a good fit. And I like that as it is neutralish, it doesn't really change the sound signature of the paired IEM. It has quite a middle of the road bore sizing too, so in general it fits quite a few different IEMs, other than those with super thin/thick nozzles. In view of the longer nozzle, it can give extension for problematic short nozzle IEMs like the infamous BLON BL-03, in fact i use spinfit CP100 and CP145 for the BLON BL-03 (and I bought a few BLONs as christmas gifts and included spinfits inside). The CP145 is more neutralish, the CP100 adds a tinge of midbass when paired with the BLON BL-03, so bassheads maybe can opt for the CP100.

I only got about a dozen iems & they fit all.
