Hey Rice, how do the 282 compare with the 484 or 888?

282/252 sound like hifi headphones, but 484/888 do not.
282 sounds like senn headphone.
252 sounds like akg.

282>?=252 > 484 >> 888

282's wire is better than 252's.

Wow you gotta be serious... 282 > 484 > 888...

Hey Rice, do you have experiences with the Aiwa HP-D9 and HP-D8? I have both and I think they both sound much better than the 888... the Aiwas do have this "hi-fi sounding" you're referring to I think, the soundstage is super wide and you can hear a lot (and I mean A LOT) of detail... yet they're not bass heavy like the Sony 472 at all, but not like the really weak bass of the 888 either... just this weird punchy feeling but not exaggerated...

I have a pair of 484 shipping to me right now... so I can't give judgement on it yet... but I do find the 472's bass overkill...

Also, there's these Aiwa HP-V99 and HP-V88 too, heard of those?

hehe sorry for the long questions...

472 is a kind of cheap earphone.
I do not have HP-V99 and V88, but I will.

D9 sound like old style sony earphones such as mdr-e252 but not so good. D9 is better than 888, which sound too fake, like sugar.
