What is the app that bypasses 16-bit 44.1 khz audio limitation of Android?
Besides having OTG and hooking up a DAC and playing 24bit 96khz thru the app called "USB Audio Recorder Pro" which is byfar the cleanest audio signal output there is for the android OS IMHO.

Has anyone used Rockbox for Android? It's a free app and is updated daily.  It can be found at http://rasher.dk/rockbox/android/. Just select your screen resolution to download the appropriate apk.

I've been using it for a long time and it similar to the player in sansa clip.

I tried that but even though I downloaded the version for 1920x1080 the font size is so tiny it's like it was designed for a 320x240 screen :'(

Where can I download a proper skin for a high res device?

Been trying out quite a few music players on my Galaxy S3 (international 19300) and although Neutron gets mentioned a lot, I think it weights the mids too forwards for my liking, leading to a presentation that borders on dry and grey, not to mention in your earface. Yes, I just said earface.

So for me, I have finally settled on Google Play Music. Scoff all you like but it sounds great, it looks great, and it's got great streaming functions too.

I am done faffing around.

I quite like poweramp. Using on my Nexus 7, it has a good GUI, nice navigation and huge customisation options, like lists, themes, tags etc...

It really doesn't matter which player you use at the front end anymore.  I do prefer Poweramp for its user interface

viper4android doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy Victory.

I am in fact rooted.
time for some troubleshooting! Believe me it's totally worth the trouble.

Did you put it in system/apps folder? Did you choose the right cpu type?

Is there actually an English download page somewhere? It seems like the two programs have now been merged, however from what I can see of the download site the latest version does not seem to be there. Am I missing something?
