Best amp/dac for D7000s?

Gotta agree with you on the D7000 love though. As a compliment its perfect for the RS1i, and I find myself switching between the two. What I do is take one to work one day and the other the next

I never said they were difficult to drive. I was just giving him some different options based on the ones I own or have heard.
If he wants the LCD-2 latter down the road I would go with a solid state amp based on my tests with a them on my WA5-LE and my RP010B. Not that they don't sound good with the Woo but I think the sound better with the RP010B.
 
Now, it looks like he wants speaker outputs too. Then I would go hands dwon with the Leben in his price range,

Any idea where to find a Leben CS300XS or CS300? Doesn't seem like too many of them pop up in the "For Sale" forum here on Head-Fi :frowning2:
