No new releases coming. AQ has said they will do no more headphones. They can't with Skylar no longer working with them. What you are seeing are closeout prices.

Some people have been doing that.... getting backup NH and NOs. I also have the original wood one and love it. I was able to get a good discount on mine two years ago when the Carbon was announced.

Only for the nightNight I've seen people ordering backups just in case lol. They never seem to break in their own BUT YOU NEVER KNOW, WHAT IF SOMEONE STEALS THEM.

Also I'm pretty sure most of what we do isn't normal.

What is the main difference between the Nighthawk original and carbon besides exterior aesthetics? Is there a reason to look for one of the original veneer models? Are they interchangeable?

They improved the driver a bit for less distortion and the sensitivity of I remember right? Been a while since I looked up the differences but I read he room some feedback on the original and improved a bit. Someone else here could probably tell you more

They are exactly the same, the driver is the same too. The only difference is the colour and different earpads (and cable).

i was told by someone at aq the carbon has a thicker wall along with something to do with more or better bracing on the inside. it was supposed to be somewhat better but i dont have both here i gave the wood variant to a good friend and kept the carbon because i like the look better.
