Damn... and mine (older version) is still stuck in customs...
Really? We bought ours the same day, I thought you had the 2015, too.

I have the NFB-28 (2015) received on 5 January (Dutch Audio-GD dealer), great piece of equipment and I love the sound it produce, take's two weeks of burning in though to really shine.
At first I had the 2014 model on order but luckily my dealer informed me about the new 2015 model
I think I'll refuse the package and start a dispute on paypal. Including taxes, this amp is costing me roughly 1530 USD (possibly more)
Those customs fees cannot be blamed on A-GD.
However, if I was in your position, I would feel really anxious about not having the best. What exactly were these new upgrades anyway? It looks like price also went up so you saved some money.
I understand that you would rather have the 28 for less, who wouldn't, but this new 28 is a significant upgrade over the previous model.
Revised dac, new amp, tweaked power supply, new volume control, shielded case. You also have to consider that the old 28 amp is from the days of the Phoenix circa 2009. Audio-GD has come a long way since then.
That said, Kingwa is good guy. Shoot him an email and see what happens. It's currently $712.50 because of the sale, he might accept $680 if you're reasonable.

I'm interested in this product to use with headphones and computer speakers but I have some questions I couldn't find the answer to.
1. Are you able to use both the xlr and rca outputs at the same time?
2. When plugging in headphones, does it mute the xlr/rca outputs on the back?
