Does anyone know how much power the M11 draws while just sitting idle (no music playing)?

being class A, it doesn't vary up or down. just full 45w consumption whether you use it or not.

I guess mine is off, I'm reading off of the meter reported by the UPS, the M11 is the only device connected to it.  64W doesn't matter if music is playing or not.

Hi, I am intending to order for Master-11 and going to pair it with my HE-6, HD800 and my studio monitors Eve Audio SC205. The thing is I am not sure if I should add the custom option for extra high gain to use easily with my HE-6 since it might affect the daily use of my other cans. Is it possible to pair Master 11 with HE-6 normally without this custom option?

I bought the medium gain version and the higher gain has NO bad effect on the more super sensitive Headphone like the 32 Ohm 96dB BeyerDynamic DT 770 which are designed to be driven with a cell phone even. I would bet I could use the DT 770 even with the highest gain modification. Just don't have to turn it up as much.

Is there a way to connect a microphone to the M11 or does it have to be onboard connection

As far as I know there is no way to hookup a microphone to the m11. I hookup my mic to my PC. But only use mic's for gaming anyhow.

Oh the anxiety. My trusty old ' Master11 has been shipped to Audio-GD HQ for a facelift to the NOS11 and a few other service related modifications. It looks so funny on my desk with an empty spot. My wife still has her nice nfb28... My space where the m11 has now a little objective 2 amp. Oh dear lord how pitiful does that thing sound in comparison to the m11. I'll "deal" with it over the next several weeks while I wait for my m11 I listened to my m11 in NOS mode all the time anyways. It's definitely my preferred sound from all its options.

Might I add, 253usd to ship the darn beast! USPS was cheapest...

Hi Bimmer, may I come up to you with one question?

As a proud owner of a Nfb29, I was thinking in upgrading my amp/dac to a Master-11. I'm not fond of bright, harsh sound that a -perhaps- HD800 or a T90 could come across with when paired to my Sabre dac...

How would you compare the M11 to the Nfb28 in terms of PRaT, soundstage and treble? I've read that perhaps the 1704uk chip is more focused into vocals but loses punch compared to the 9018 one.

Thx in advance!

I just tried running NOS-mode but found it rather inaccurate and imbalanced. The warmness it brought was very nice but vocals got shifted slightly to the left channel and I can't stand it. Also, determining where the instruments are in a room became a lot harder imho.

I had the imbalance as well when I tried NOS mode a while back.

Pretty sure it is no supposed to sound like that? I just went back to default settings which I already enjoy, but was just curious about NOS at the time.
