-Microphone quality - I totally understand why latency and audio quality were chosen over mic transmission given the limited bandwith with bluetooth. Why is this an issue with the wireless dongle however? There should be more than enough headway to allow for an incremental increase in clarity.
What it comes down to is that small companies aren't developing the wireless tech in-house. They license the IP from some third party vendor and are limited by the options the vendor provides.
This is not to mention the muffled/boomy sound I am told it sounds like on the receiving end. With that being said, I would be happy with the above audio over USB enabled so I could at least get better quality on my PC.
Something a lot of people are not aware of is that you can use wireless for the headphone audio while simultaneously using a 3.5 mm AUX cable for the microphone. This will give you the best quality from each of them. It is not very intuitive since the wireless will automatically turn off when you plug in the AUX cable, but you can press the button on the headphones to turn it back on.
