I hope they keep the quotes and word play in the guide. The writers are definitely talented sci-fi/fantasy book, game buffs!

By the way, the earcups and fit of the EL-8 is nearly perfect. I honestly thought endgame when I first heard it, and it’s definitely up there. It’s surprising how reviews are so mixed but like I said I sympathize with both the positive and negative reviews for that particular headphone. I’m extremely excited to see how Audeze tuned Mobius.
To clarify, the EL-8 are incredible headphones in the ~ $399 price range. They just don’t have the most forgiving sound signature, which makes listening to lossy music more like watching HD content on a 4K TV. I’m expecting Mobius to be even better. I really think they’ll nail the tuning. The transparency will be surprisingly fantastic for Bluetooth AAC/LDAC if the tuning is a little more fun like the Sine, mark my words.
I must ask, why/how do you have such high expectations? You seem to expect that the Mobius will trump both the EL8 and Sine in pure sound quality. But based on what exactly?
did they? could you pass me a link to the page were they did it, please? i am a little out of the loop in thisAudeze actually took their sweet time to explain we shouldn't be unreasonable with our expectations after some people voiced their hopes(?) this could be like a closed back LCD-X

Am tipping they're working hard, putting all their ducks in a row and working on getting their units to market.
Until the product gets to it's expected/planned release there's no reason for them to be giving any "feedback".
If "software is not 100% finished" why the hell would they (or us) want anything released?
Prior to the actual product?
Looking at the equipment in your sig - I honestly doubt the Mobius is going to scratch the itch to help you get off the "audiophile merry-go-round" if it's not the headtracking/surround you're looking for.
Don't get me wrong - would be awesome if, once you got the Mobius, you were able to sell off the HD800, Stax, amps and dacs etc and be content, but won't be holding out for it.
