I got a cable for my HD700's from Custom Cans and it is really well made.
As I said I didn't get this cable for the LCD-X, it was purchased for my HD700. Custom Cans will terminate for just about any headphone though
Has any LCD-X owner tried the LCD4?
I owned or tried the LCD2f, LCD2C, LCD3, LCD4 but never had a chance to hear/try the LCD-X. I love my LCD2C, prefer this to the LCD2f and LCD3. LCD4 has better sound, but the weight is really unbearable. I have no weight problems with the LCD2 models though.
Does the LCD-X feel significantly heavier than the LCD2? Is it on LCD4 level weight-wise?

Thanks. I am pretty sure the LCD4 is heavier than that. Pretty much each website gives you a different value. I have never weighed them on a scale, but most sources state the LCD2C with its 550g is the lightest LCD. (Or is it just 500g? I can't remember.)The Audeze LCD-X is slightly heavier than the LCD-4 on paper, but I can't tell the difference while wearing them. I own both, and neither of them bothers me with its weight. I know the weight is a problem for others though.
(Audeze LCD-X Headphones (¼" and 4-pin balanced XLR plugs, 20 Ω, 21.6 oz./612g as shown, about
Audeze LCD-4 : Cable Length: 8.2 ft. (2.5 m) Cable Style: Straight Y. Weight: 1.21 lbs (548 grams) w/o cord.)

Anyway, the LCD4 to me felt significantly heavier than the LCD2C or the LCD2f.
