I don't find the X to be too heavy, you get used to it. It's very comfy for hours at a time. :L3000:

I have a 2017 creators edition, I bought a carbon headband and like it very much. :)

It's a Norne Solvine balanced, yes I find it more resolving vs the stock cable.
I would definitely not say it changes the sound signature, rather it enhances it.

I wouldn't buy a cable for a tone control, it is simply a very resolving, neutral cable, though not cheap.
It also looks great and has a nice feel, it's very supple for a cable of it's girth:ksc75smile:

From Audeze:

LCD-3: 629g
LCD-X: 630g
LCD-XC: 680g
LCD-MX4: 555g
LCD-4: 695g

Thanks, where did you get those numbers?
It's quite hilarious how they advertise the LCD-4z as "improved weight" and then not add the weight in the specifications list.
I'm still looking for the weight on that one :')

I am just kicked back when I listen, I find it funny those who complain of the LCDs weight.

They are not mobile headphones, and you can't have this performance without substantial magnets thus some weight.

I kinda like it, it's like wearing a sonic helmet :L3000:

When I have people try these out I like to illustrate that point. Instead of saying, "put these on," I say, "put your head into these."

Another fun fact: When you are wearing the LCDs, you can still see them.
