Compared to the tube mode on the iDSD Pro?
I'll do some direct A/B's in the coming days and let you know. But from quick memory, the Dragon is noticeably more airy and faster (likely due to the solid state hybrid). The tube on iDSD also shrinks soundstage a bit meanwhile Dragon's stage is vast, adding nice height which I never really associated with LCD5. Dragon also likely sounds more natural/organic overall in comparison.

Surprisingly-I think I prefer iDSD Pro for the Stealth but I need more time on that before deciding. Sounds a bit flat and lacking in bass from Dragon for now.

Just in case you missed my review on the 5 + pro iDSD, try tube mode, 0 gain, GTO filter and moving your ear fitting to the back and up of the cup.

What gain do you have when using the Stealth?

I'd use +18db gain on iDSD Pro Signature with Stealth. DSD512 and Bit Perfect+ filter (I didn't really experiment the filters too much to be honest). But the sound, although it seems a bit colored, provides a really rich mid-centric tuning that seems to gets lost with the cleaner Dragon. Fun subbass too.

Circumstances are entirely different. And we were absolutely delayed on all shipments until the end of last week.

If you are who I think you are, I had to fill out a comp form for you, and the other didn't as it was requested after we did our initial testing. I'll check in on the comp form order. May have gotten lost, so I'll make a new one today to submit immediately.
Thank you, my email before @ is same with my ID here, so I guess I'm the one you think. Please keep me update, as you know, I will have to change my address if it still not being shipped by next week

Some people seem to be name dropping me at Customer Service thinking they can expedite their headband requests.

That is not going to happen.

The circumstances I mentioned for a particular user was because his original comp form wasn't pushed through, so I submitted a replacement request, which is already what most of you have been put through. If we didn't ask you to write a review/impressions when asking for the new headband, then you didn't go through the old comp form process. You already already in the queue that everyone else is going through for our fastest shipment of these headbands.

edit: And in fact, he did receive his unit, it seems.

I just got the headband replacement.

It's actually very easy to install. Just twist off the cap, and pull off.

The rest is straight forward, but here's the size difference:

At least the mystery of where it went is solved. Please return the upcoming replacement to sender/back to us.

Can I ask why? I have been looking at a pair for some time (on their way actually). So curious as to why after giving such high praise.
Well, consolidating.
I want to keep the Sus and TC as they are distinct from each other.
The LCD5 is a better all-rounder than both but its like a good student that does well at everything.
The Sus and the TC are each respectively excellent at what each does well.
I am also keeping the Stax for now because I want to understand and explore estats more and also because while not being as good an all-rounder as the LCD5, they are quite unique in what they do well (speed, detail, delicateness).
Hope that clarifies. The LCD5 is an excellent all-rounder.

You mean that you like more the LCD-5 than Stax or the LCD-5 is better all-rounder than Stax?

I have also both Susvara and 1266 TC.
But the LCD-5 EQ Resolves v2 is another story they are amazing crazy detaily, speedy and slammy.
