You stretched the original headband?
Yes a bit I think so. After some stretching it "gave up" tiny bit.
Clamp force is not so big now. Still too much, but overall comfort is a tad better. Still waiting for my new headband though.

So I decided to pull the trigger.
Technically these are amazing cans.
Already wrote an email to Audeze and asked for new headband (my model has lower serial number than 17xx)
Clamp force on old headband is too much - but after couple of days I think that it loosen a bit and now it's not THAT bad, but still too much for long listening sessions.

How long did you guys wait for the new headband ?
Finally got my shipping notice. Took about a week for shipping.

You got the shipping notice after a week of initial request?
Yep, correct. I got a response fast and they said it’s be a week or so and they were right :) I think I sent my request last Monday and got my shipping email this morning.

Haha didn’t mind the clamping at first, but does hurt my right ear after a while lately. They are comfy initially, then the pressure sets in after an hour or so.

Loving my Celestee at the moment with the zero clamp force. Hope the new headbands do some justice.

Wow, I sent my request 12/30/2021, and followed up multiple times, still no shipping email.... They keep telling me their production team having issue cause by Covid and can't ship anything out...

That doesn’t sound right at all considering my circumstance. If they are sending them now, yours should be included with the batch I’d think.

Circumstances are entirely different. And we were absolutely delayed on all shipments until the end of last week.

If you are who I think you are, I had to fill out a comp form for you, and the other didn't as it was requested after we did our initial testing. I'll check in on the comp form order. May have gotten lost, so I'll make a new one today to submit immediately.

I didn’t mean circumstance like I was special, meant it as I submitted my request just as shipments were getting ready :)

In any case, comp forms are submitted in a different manner than normal requests, which is a little more involved, and may have gotten lost in the busy holiday rush. The original comp form was made when we were looking for feedback.

I have submitted a replacement request for that original comp form request, to ensure it goes through as soon as we get more headbands in.

I sincerely apologize for the delay. Shipping has been....hectic. I wish I could literally be hands on, but I'm on the other side of the states from HQ. :(

Any concerns I had with the somewhat clinical mids (even after EQ) off my iDSD Pro Signature has quickly died after adding the Wells Audio Dragon L2. Dragon smoothens out the LCD5's transients and decay ever so slightly to add a more harmonic and organic tonality. Vocals are lush, yet airy and detailed. Treble is somehow a combination of crisp but smooth, excellently complimenting the addicting synergy. I feel like bass could be better and I am hoping it increases with AMP burn-in as I believe the previous user didn't have too many hours on it. But either way, it hits hard and has a nice warmth to it.

(Now time to DAC roll...and find a bigger desk lol).

Compared to the tube mode on the iDSD Pro?
