Is it possible the lcd 2's have a quicker impulse responce then the t1 s? IF so  is there a graph for this regarding the lcd2's?

Yes, they are quicker.  See the data published by Tyll from the CanJam measurements.

Do I have an old copy? Did not see any T1 amongst the headphones listed. Was CanJam 2010

Just double checked the file... there is no T1 data in there. Is there such data on the T1 elsewhere?

Get the LCD-2 data here:

and get the T1 data here:

those two links are not regarding impulse response, or are you deducing their speed from their square wave performance?

That and their great rise times, lack of hysteresis, overhang, overshoot, ringing, etc...  All good indicators of the quickness, mass-less-ness, and control of the driver, not to mention their ability to maintain proper pressurization/rarefaction of the acoustic environment throughout the duty cycle..

Between the LCD-2, Senn HD-800, and Beyerdynamic T1, you're looking at the three best performing electromagnetically powered headphones on the planet, and the best of the three is the LCD-2.  In this case, what you see is what you hear.

DefectiveAudioComponent, nope, nope, I like it very much, just curious to hear impression whether Skylab's favorite cable is improving the sound even more than is already impressive Norse Cable.  Norse cable look beautiful and ZERO microphonics.

Well, FedEx never show up today with my LCD-2 due to the crappy storm. One more day.

those "just one extra day" are always the most brutal. Hang in there.

Woohoo, the eagle has landed.  Just need until noon for the receiving department to swing by with my package.

according to the can jam measurements, "their great rise times, lack of hysteresis, overhang, overshoot, ringing" in other words there impulse responce is best in the cd3000 graph, with the t1 's having not been measured as of yet.
